Questions & answers

Everything students and parents usually ask us.

Which courses does Vidyavaridhi Independent PU College offer?

We offer Karnataka State PU Board Science combinations: PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) and PCMC (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science), both with integrated KCET / NEET / JEE coaching inside the regular timetable.

Where is the college located?

At Huliyar, Chikkanayakanahalli Taluk, Tumakuru District, Karnataka 572218. Students from Huliyar and surrounding villages can reach us easily.

Is separate coaching needed for KCET or NEET?

No. Our weekly NEET/KCET pattern tests, twice-daily subject classes and Level 1–6 problem practice are built into the course itself. Students do not need a separate coaching centre.

How often are tests conducted?

Every week, on the chapters taught that week, in the actual NEET (720 marks) or KCET (180 marks) pattern. Results with individual ranks are announced within about 2 hours.

What were the college results in 2026?

Out of 48 students who appeared for II PUC boards, 19 got distinction and 24 first class — a 95.83% pass. Our students have also succeeded in KCET, ComedK and JEE.

Which is better after SSLC — PCMB or PCMC?

If you want to keep both medical (NEET) and engineering (CET/JEE) options open, choose PCMB. If you are sure about engineering or computer science, PCMC reduces the study load while keeping all engineering doors open. Our counsellors help every student decide.

How do parents know how their child is doing?

Through regular parent–teacher meetings, and through the student portal where marks, ranks, attendance and teacher feedback are visible after every test.

How do I apply for admission?

Send an enquiry from the Admissions page of this website, call 8050200572 / 9341799417, or visit the college office. Admission is based on SSLC marks and an interaction.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes — download the official Android app from the "Get our App" link. It gives portal access and rings a notification whenever results or announcements are published.

What documents are needed for admission?

SSLC marks card, transfer certificate, caste/income certificates if applicable, Aadhaar copy, and passport photos. The office will guide you through the rest.

Do you take students from other boards (CBSE/ICSE)?

Yes. Students from any recognised board who have passed 10th standard can join I PUC. Our bridge teaching in the first weeks helps everyone reach the same level.

What makes PU different from high school?

In just 20 months, students cover 106 chapters across PCMB — plus languages — and each chapter carries 200–250 graded problems relevant to about 17 competitive exams. That is why systematic coaching from day one of I PUC matters so much.
