Choosing a PU college is a two-year, career-deciding commitment. Yet most families decide on fees, distance, or a neighbour's opinion. Ask these instead:
1. "How often do you test, and in what pattern?"
Weekly, in real NEET/KCET pattern, with ranks — or monthly, board-pattern only? This one answer predicts entrance results better than any brochure.
2. "How fast do students get results and analysis?"
Feedback a month later is useless. Same-day results mean mistakes get fixed while the chapter is fresh.
3. "Will the I PUC syllabus be revised in II PUC?"
Nearly half of KCET/NEET comes from I PUC. If the college never revisits it, your child revises 56 chapters alone.
4. "Who exactly teaches Physics and Maths?"
Ask about the actual lecturers' experience with competitive-exam problems — not just their degrees.
5. "How will I know how my child is doing?"
Look for scheduled PTMs plus a portal where you can see every test's marks, rank and attendance — not a yearly report card.
6. "What did last year's batch achieve?"
Pass percentage, distinctions, and entrance-exam outcomes. Verify with the banners, newspapers, or by talking to current parents.
7. "What happens when a student falls behind?"
Extra practice sessions? Batch regrouping? Or nothing? The answer tells you whether weak moments become weak years.
